Our picks will be a mix of the latest installment in a beloved series, the beginning of a brand new series, or a standalone novel that you’ll want to sink your teeth into.

February’s picks include a mysterious new boarding school, a plague ushering in the end of days, forbidden love, and more.

In order of release date, here are 5 fantasy novels we’re looking forward to reading in February:

1. Wings of Starlight by Allison Saft – February 4

This tale of of forbidden love is a prequel to the Disney Fairies franchise, following Clarion as she prepares to become queen. Wings of Starlight by Allison Saft releases on February 4.
