Every year, The Golden Globe Awards mark the start of the awards season. This year, Hollywood celebrated the 82nd year of this exciting night of recognition for both motion picture and television.
For some, this night was filled with validation that their favorite actors, films, or TV shows are truly the best of the best. While, others felt their hearts break when their favorites didn’t take home the coveted prize.
Shōgun took it home tonight with the most wins in TV between acting wins as well as the Best TV Series – Drama award. The next runner-ups were Hacks and Baby Reindeer. Plus, Jodie Foster took home much-deserved accolades for her performance in True Detective: Night Country.
Meanwhile, on the motion picture side of things, The Brutalist and Emilia Pérez were the clear favorites, winning many awards each. Meanwhile, greats such as Kieran Culkin, Adrian Brody, and Demi Moore received recognition for their hard work this year.
Overall, it was a celebration to remember and a bright look at what lies ahead for the rest of this award season.
