If you have read the books in our LGBTQIA picks for November, we have 7 new titles to add to your TBR list. Cozy DuBois, Zakiya N. Jamal, and Alexis Hall are among the authors we highlight this month.

Frustrated with everything, Rory books a spontaneous vacation to finally see the Aurora Borealis. His PTO request will probably get declined, but he’ll be in Alaska by then.

But when he lands, the hotel (more rustic than luxurious) has no record of his reservation. The snow is falling, the sun set hours ago, and to make matters worse, Sanzhar is there to witness his humiliation. Swallowing his pride, Rory accepts Sanzhar’s offer to share his cabin. Book Description: Bestselling author Alexis Hall brings all the cozy charm of The Great British Bake Off to life in this quirky LGBTQIA+ romcom.

Audrey Lane is perfectly fine. Really. So what if she left her high-powered job as a Very Important Journalist—and her even higher-powered long-term girlfriend—to live a quiet life as a reporter for the second-biggest newspaper in Shropshire? And so what if she keeps hearing the voice of that same higher-powered long-term now-ex-girlfriend in her head night and day, constantly judging just how small Audrey’s allowed her life to become?

She’s fine. She’s happy. She’s perfectly within her groove. Do not-in-their-groove people get weekday drunk and impulsively apply for the UK’s most beloved baking show?

All right, so maybe she’s not completely fine, but being on Bake Expectations is opening her world again in ways she never anticipated. First through fellow contestant Doris, whose personal story of queer love during WW2 captures Audrey’s heart, imagination, and journalistic interest like nothing has in ages.

Then through Jennifer Hallet, the most foul-tempered (and fouler-mouthed) producer, woman, and menace Audrey has ever met. Jennifer should be off-limits, but her fire lights something unexpected inside of Audrey, making her want to burn back a million times brighter. A million times hotter. A million times more herself than she’s been in a long, long time.

Book Description: If hooking up with straight married men was a business, Orlando Oakham-Goodwin would be the CEO. Nepo baby and all round spoilt brat, Lando lives a life most can only dream of. Two years ago, Harry Ellis’s dream came true when he made the roster of the Bath Centurions Men’s rugby team. Desperate to prove himself and get noticed, Harry vows he’ll outshine his teammates and win the fight for captaincy. And it’s going pretty well, at least until a certain rich boy with a loud mouth and a lack of boundaries comes crashing back into his life.

Harry is a man on a mission to be the best, even if it kills him. But Lando, in all his chaotic glory, might teach him something far more important. Because this isn’t the same Lando Harry remembers. There’s something different about him now. Something a little more . . . driven.

Try Again Later is a friends to enemies to lovers MM rugby romance with a lactose intolerant brat and a grumpy fly-half. Expect reluctant second chances, “teach me” goodness, and plenty of toilet humour—literally. Try Again Later is the second in the Try for Love series of interconnected standalones.
