Adult Swim’s version of the Man of Steel is returning for another fight in My Adventures With Superman Season 3. However, this time, he’ll be facing one of his most dangerous threats in the history of this superhero.

Adult Swim and HBO Max released the official poster for My Adventures With Superman Season 3, which features the debut of Cyborg Superman. Additionally, new details about what’s to come were also revealed.

The season finale of My Adventures With Superman Season 2 left Clark in a unique position, having defeated Brainiac with the help of a renewed Supergirl. That said, things might not look so bright for his future with Cyborg Superman’s arrival.

After defeating Brainiac in My Adventures With Superman Season 2, Clark managed to release Kara from the robot’s control. She became a part of Clark’s human family and even began a relationship with Jimmy. Plus, Clark and Lois grew intimately closer in new ways.

Season 3’s synopsis teases that, after dealing with all of the chaos involving his Kryptonian past, Clark just wants peace. However, Lois, who became the Daily Planet’s star reporter, doesn’t want to, for reasons untold.

As for Jimmy, he’s become a huge celebrity thanks to his popular “Flamebird” persona. He’s still trying to work things out with Kara, who’s also trying to find her place on Earth after dealing with Brainiac.

Unfortunately for the Kryptonians, some humans aren’t looking too kindly upon them. Particularly, Lex Luthor, who finally emerged out of his Season 1 background role, is seemingly targeting Clark and Kara. In the post-credits of My Adventures With Superman Season 2, he’s hired Deathstroke to continue his work.

My Adventures With Superman Season 3 plans to introduce more allies and enemies of the Man of Steel to test this found family’s might. At San Diego Comic Con 2025, it was revealed that Superboy, specifically Conner “Kon-El” Kent, will debut in the upcoming season.

In addition, Steel will also be making a comeback for Season 3. As such, Steel, Conner Kent, and Cyborg Superman’s appearances confirm that Season 3 will adapt the “Reign of the Supermen” comics arc, but not directly.

“It’s less Death [of Superman] and more about, ‘What’s a Superman?’,” showrunner Jake Wyatt said, per Entertainment Weekly. “The fun thing about Reign of the Supermen is that it’s all these impostors who have the same power set but different values.

Additionally, Wyatt also confirmed that another DC superhero, Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, will also appear. Her presence will set up the events of My Adventures With Green Lantern, an upcoming spinoff based on the warriors of willpower.

Wyatt and Brendan Clogher are co-executive producers and showrunners for My Adventures With Superman. The series is also executive produced by James Gunn, Peter Safran, and Sam Register, with Kimberly S. Moreau serving as producer.

My Adventures With Superman Season 3 premieres Saturday, June 13, on Adult Swim and HBO Max.
