The Hollywood Critics Association announced today the winners of the 2023 HCA Midseason Movie Awards.

Top winners include Past Lives with three total wins, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with two wins, and Air, also with two total wins.

Winners for Past Lives include Best Screenplay – Celine Song, Best Indie, and Best Actress – Greta Lee.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the winner for Best Picture and Best Director – Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson.

Air has two wins for its performers: Matt Damon for Best Actor and Viola Davis for Best Supporting Actress.

The HCA Midseason Movie Awards honors the best in film from the first half of the year. Nominations for the 2023 HCA Midseason Movie Awards were announced on Tuesday, June 27th.
